Question 1: What kind of offers converts the best with solo ads?
This is speaking from personal experience: mostly Business Opportunity offers.
Question 2: What is better when it comes to getting conversions? Mixed Clicks, Pure Solos, Tier 1 only Solo Ads or something else?
The answer would be quite complicated but I will try and reduce it to a few words: I’d say it’s a mix of the traffic you buy, in this case. I would say that “mixed clicks” are the best, as well as what kind of funnel the seller has and what kind of funnel you as the buyer have.
There are many factors that determine conversion rates, not just the type of clicks. You can have access to the best traffic in the world but it won’t be useful if you don’t know what to do with it.
Question 3: How are solo ads different from FB Ads? Which is better according to you?
My experience here is pretty limited. I haven’t done Facebook Ads for a few years now. My friends in that space have said that with passing years the Facebook Ads system has become increasingly more difficult to work with and make it profitable. I’ve seen people that have done it, I’ve also seen many that have given up on Facebook Ads completely. I prefer to stick with Solos for the Business Opportunity niche, I can’t speak for other niches… am not in E-commerce either.
Question 4: What is the #1 solo ad buying hack that you can tell us? (Since most of the readers are going to be buyers of solo ads).
Test, test, test the traffic. Testimonials are great… but don’t just go buy 1 million clicks off of someone that has great testimonials. His traffic might not work with your funnel. Testing the traffic is the key to getting great conversions.
Question 5: What is the biggest mistake people make while buying solo ads?
Not testing… test everything: traffic, your funnels, your landing pages… everything. Also, having high expectations is another factor. You’re not gonna buy 100 clicks and make a fortune out of that.
Question 6: What are the opt-in and conversion rates can be expected from a solo ad run?
Taking everything into consideration: between 30%-60%.
Question 7: How should the follow-up sequence be? 1 email per day? Value Driven? Pure Push Marketing Emails? or something else?
The followup sequence should be more “personal”, get to know your list, give them some value, offer them some gifts… see how they respond to it and decide what to do from there.
Question 8: What are the top 5 products/services that you just can’t run your business without?
(1) Thrive Leads for my funnels and landing pages
(2) ClickMagick for my tracking purposes
(3) Dreamhost for my hosting
(4) WordPress as the backbone of my websites.
Question 9: What is your #1 tip for anyone using solo ads to promote their business?
Test everything… tried and tested methods work best but what works for others might not work for you. Add your own unique twist to it. The traffic in the solo ad space has seen a lot of offers and you need to stand out a bit with your business before you grab their attention.
Question 10: Where can the readers find you to buy clicks from you?
