Question 1: What kind of offers converts the best with solo ads?
In my opinion solo traffic consists mostly of individuals with below average internet/computer skills or in other words non-tech-savvy people. Basically, the majority of the population is like that, so why not target the majority? This is why I prefer simple offers to promote with Solo Traffic. it’s like that the simpler the offer the more people will be ‘buying’ into it so why not always target for the greatest portion?
Question 2: What is better when it comes to getting conversions? Mixed Clicks, Pure Solos, Tier 1 only Solo Ads or something else?
I think it doesn’t really matter, they both are more or less similar, that’s why most people sell and buy traffic mixed. Tier 1 is surreally better but also it more expensive… If you can always go with t1, if you’re on a budget go for any other package you can afford.
Question 3: How are solo ads different from FB Ads? Which is better according to you?
Well FB Ads differs from them all. I think it is the most lucrative and customizable traffic source ever. I think Even google AdWords is jealous. Their tools for targeting is insane and there’re so many variables and settings to tweak around that this makes it insanely powerful tool yet very complex and unfriendly for beginners, where Solo Traffic is opposite. Solo Ads are simple and straightforward, all you have to do is find decent vendors and build a simple funnel. There are only a few tweaks needed, it’s nothing compared to FB.
Question 4: What is the #1 solo ad buying hack that you can tell us? (Since most of the readers are going to be buyers of solo ads).
When I started my business I was thinking the same way just like most of the beginners think. I was wasting time on building funnels and making it perfect, full of images, pictures and other useless material on my funnel pages what not only was unnecessary but also was affecting the loading time of my server…
Only later I learnt that when it comes to funnels it is best to be as simple as possible. Minimalistic design is the best for your pages. There are two things important: Short, Catchy pitch-line and opt-in form. These are two ingredients to make it loud with Solo Ads. Anything else on your page is just useless and totally unnecessary…
Question 5: What is the biggest mistake people make while buying solo ads?
I have met some people who send traffic directly to offers and/or without tracking. This is insanely irresponsible. Not only you lose on the opportunity to build your prospect list, but also you lose potential sales from your autoresponder follow up emails and/or broadcasts. Those sales can easily compensate for traffic cost.
But They are just afraid of building a little website, as they think it’s very difficult and technical when in reality is very simple and straightforward, everything now can be done in the drag and drop fashion and it won’t take longer than 30 mins even for a total newbie.
Question 6: What are the opt-in and conversion rates can be expected from a solo ad run?
Most landing pages convert at around 50% Some around 40% and very rarely drops beyond 35%. I consider 30% to be too low and in such cases, I usually compensate my clients with little over delivery.
Question 7: How should the follow-up sequence be? 1 email per day? Value Driven? Pure Push Marketing Emails? or something else?
You must experiment. I have tried many variations. But I usually never send more than 2 emails per day to my subscribers. I also had very good results with sending email follow-ups for 7-days, each day with a step towards building a profitable online business. For a fact, this mini email course was called ‘Easy Steps to $3,000 per Month in 7 Days’. People really seemed to dig it, and lately, I concentrate around such short follow-ups based guides. It really pays off!
Question 8: What are the top 5 products/services that you just can’t run your business without?
(1) Tracking System
(2) Autoresponder Account
(4) WordPress (plus its plugins)
(5) Google Docs
Question 9: What is your #1 tip for anyone using solo ads to promote their business?

Question 10: Where can the readers find you to buy clicks from you?
