Udimi is one of the better-known marketplaces for buying and selling solo ad traffic.
Instead of buying traffic directly from Udimi itself, you choose from individual sellers who have their own email lists, prices, ratings and traffic history.
That distinction matters. Udimi is the marketplace; the seller you choose is the actual traffic source. If you want to compare that seller-led model with a campaign-led newsletter network, see our TrafficZest review.
This Udimi review explains how the platform works, what to look at before placing an order, how pricing works and how I would approach a first test.

Quick Answer
Udimi is a marketplace for buying solo ad traffic from independent email-list sellers. You can compare sellers by price, ratings, traffic information and other available statistics before choosing who to test, rather than buying traffic from an unknown provider without any background information.
I would use Udimi to compare sellers and run a controlled first test, then track what happens after the click before deciding whether to order more traffic.

What Is Udimi?
Udimi is an online marketplace built specifically around solo ads. Sellers list traffic from their email audiences, while buyers can compare providers and purchase a specific number of visitors for a landing page or offer.
When I compare sellers, I would look at the full profile rather than one headline number. Useful details include:
- price per visitor
- buyer ratings
- percentage of orders reporting sales
- repeat-order percentage
- traffic niche
- traffic geography
- seller activity
Udimi also shows recent traffic statistics and buyer feedback on individual seller profiles. According to its current help documentation, ratings shown in the rating section relate to Udimi solo ad orders, and sellers cannot simply delete negative ratings.
That gives you considerably more information than buying from an unknown seller through a forum, social media message or private deal.
It still doesn’t mean every seller will be right for your funnel.
How Do Udimi Solo Ads Work?
Buying Udimi solo ads is fairly straightforward.

1. Find a Seller
Browse the seller marketplace and narrow the results using the available filters.
I wouldn’t automatically choose the cheapest seller or the seller with the largest number beside their name.
Look at the overall profile.
2. Review Their Recent Results
Check:
- ratings
- recent feedback
- traffic location
- price
- repeat orders
- niche
- reported sales
- amount of traffic available
You can also message sellers before ordering.
That’s useful if you want to ask whether your particular niche or funnel is suitable for their audience.
For more on evaluating traffic providers generally, see How to Choose a Solo Ad Provider.
3. Choose How Many Clicks You Want
Solo ads on Udimi are generally purchased based on a number of visitors.
The minimum and maximum order sizes depend on the individual seller and their availability.
4. Add Your Link or Ad Text
You provide the page where you want the traffic sent.
Udimi also allows buyers to provide ad text when appropriate.
5. Choose Any Traffic Filters
Depending on the seller, you may be able to select options such as:
- Tier 1 traffic
- mobile-only traffic
- non-mobile traffic
- Prime filtering
Not every seller offers every filter.
6. Place the Order
After payment, the seller receives the order and can accept or reject it.
Udimi’s current terms give an accepted seller up to 100 hours to deliver the purchased visitors. If the seller does not deliver the full amount within that period, Udimi says the undelivered portion is automatically refunded.
How Much Do Udimi Solo Ads Cost?
There isn’t one fixed Udimi price.
Each seller sets their own:
- price per visitor
- minimum order
- available volume
- filter pricing
So two sellers offering the same number of clicks can have very different total prices.
Some optional filters can also increase the order cost.
Udimi’s current buying guide, for example, lists its optional Prime filter at $0.03 per visitor. Prices and features can change, so I would always check the actual order screen before buying.
The basic campaign calculation is simple:
Traffic Cost = Number of Clicks × Cost Per Click
But CPC by itself doesn’t tell you whether the traffic is worth buying.
Suppose:
250 clicks × $0.70 = $175
That $175 becomes much more meaningful when you compare it with:
- leads generated
- opt-in rate
- cost per lead
- engagement
- sales
- revenue
- ROI
You can run the numbers before ordering with the Solo Ad Campaign Calculator.

How I Would Choose an Udimi Seller

This is probably more important than finding the lowest CPC.
I would look at several things together rather than relying on one statistic.
Recent Buyer Feedback
A seller with lots of positive history is easier to evaluate than someone with almost no track record.
But I would still read recent feedback rather than looking only at the overall number.
Repeat Orders
Repeat buyers can be an interesting signal.
If people keep returning to the same seller, at least some buyers clearly see enough value to order again.
It still doesn’t guarantee the traffic will work for your offer.
Traffic Geography
Make sure the traffic actually matches the countries you want.
If your offer is aimed mainly at the US, UK, Canada, Australia and similar markets, paying for traffic from unrelated countries simply because it is cheaper may not help.
You can read more about this in What Is Tier 1 Solo Ad Traffic?.
Niche
Someone else’s successful campaign does not automatically mean the seller is a good match for yours.
Traffic that responds well to one type of offer may behave completely differently with another.
Price
Price matters, but I would use it as one factor rather than the deciding factor.
I’d rather test a seller whose audience appears relevant than save a few cents per click on traffic that doesn’t fit the funnel.
Is Udimi Legit?
Yes, Udimi itself is a real operating solo ad marketplace. The important distinction is between whether the platform is legitimate and whether every seller on it will produce profitable traffic for your funnel. Those are not the same question.
Udimi currently requires sellers to complete identity verification, provides its own traffic filtering system, shows buyer ratings and handles the transaction between buyer and seller. It also states that buyers don’t pay for traffic rejected by its filtering system and that undelivered traffic is refunded according to its delivery terms.
Those protections are useful.
They do not guarantee:
- leads
- sales
- profit
- a particular opt-in rate
- a particular conversion rate
Your results still depend on the seller, audience, offer, landing page, follow-up and price you paid.
That’s why I would treat Udimi as a marketplace for finding and testing traffic sources, not as a guarantee that buying clicks will make money.
What Is Udimi Prime?
Udimi Prime is an optional paid package that adds extra platform features. Udimi currently markets Prime with additional traffic-filtering capabilities, tracking tools and other features for buyers and sellers.
You’ll also see a Prime filter as an optional traffic-filtering choice when ordering solo ads.
You don’t need to start by buying every available extra.
For a first campaign, I would concentrate on:
- choosing a sensible seller
- buying a manageable test
- tracking the traffic properly
- seeing what happens after the opt-in
Then decide whether additional features are useful for the way you buy traffic.
Udimi Pros and Cons
What I Like
Seller comparison
You can compare multiple sellers without hunting for providers individually.
Visible buyer history
Ratings, repeat-order information and recent traffic statistics give you something to evaluate before spending money.
Built-in tracking and filtering
Udimi tracks and filters traffic delivered through the platform.
Direct seller communication
You can message sellers before placing an order.
Transaction protection
The platform sits between the buyer and seller and has rules around delivery and undelivered traffic.
What I Wouldn’t Rely On
Reported sales aren’t a prediction
A seller producing sales for previous buyers does not mean your funnel will convert.
Seller quality varies
Udimi gives you tools for comparing providers, but you still have to choose carefully.
Extras increase costs
Filters and other options can increase the effective price of your campaign.
It’s easy to order too much
Seeing thousands of available clicks doesn’t mean your first test should be thousands of clicks.
How Many Udimi Clicks Should You Buy First?
I prefer a controlled test rather than starting with a huge order.
For a new seller, around 100–300 clicks is usually enough to start learning something without committing a large campaign budget immediately.
The purpose of that first order isn’t to prove that solo ads always work.
It’s to answer questions such as:
- Does the traffic reach the right countries?
- Does my landing page convert it?
- What is my CPL?
- Do the subscribers engage afterward?
- Does the traffic eventually produce sales?
You can then decide whether the seller deserves a larger second test.
See How Many Solo Ad Clicks Should You Buy? for the reasoning behind test size.
Don’t Stop Tracking at the Click
Udimi provides its own click tracking, but the click is only the beginning of your funnel.
I would still track:
Clicks → Leads → Engagement → Sales → Revenue
A seller delivering all the clicks you purchased doesn’t automatically make the campaign successful.
For example, two sellers could each deliver 200 visitors:
Seller A: cheaper clicks, 35 leads, little engagement
Seller B: slightly more expensive clicks, 45 leads, stronger follow-up engagement
Looking only at CPC could lead you to choose Seller A even if Seller B ultimately produces better results.
See How to Track Solo Ads for the full tracking process.
You can also keep results from different Udimi sellers together with the Free Solo Ad Tracker.
Does Udimi Work for Affiliate Marketing?
It can, especially when the seller’s audience fits the offer. Solo ads are commonly used for affiliate marketing, list building and online-business funnels, but I would not treat the paid click as the entire strategy.
A stronger setup is usually:
Udimi traffic → landing page → email subscriber → follow-up → affiliate offer
That gives the paid click more than one chance to create value because you keep the subscriber relationship after the first visit. For a fuller walkthrough, see Solo Ads for Affiliate Marketing.
Udimi Discount for New Buyers
If you’re going to test Udimi, there is little reason to skip the referral discount.
The $5 first-order discount is available to new users who join through a qualifying Udimi referral link
Is Udimi Worth Trying?
Udimi makes it much easier to find and compare solo ad sellers than trying to locate providers one by one. You can see seller history, compare prices, inspect traffic information, message providers and start with a relatively small test.
I still would not assume the marketplace removes all of the risk. Start small, track your own funnel and compare sellers using the same metrics. Increase the order size only when the results give you a reason to.
That’s a much more useful way to approach solo ads on Udimi than chasing the seller with the cheapest click or the biggest sales percentage.
If you know how much you spent and how many clicks, leads, sales or revenue the campaign generated, the same CPL, ROI and break-even calculations still apply.
